Our proposal is for us to consider it from various perspectives:

In Holland:

From the perspective of the expat;

But being fair enough to also consider it from the perspective of the local Dutch people.

On our home lands:

Reverse cultural shock from your perspective as an expat;

But also from the perspective of your family and friends, back in your home town.

🤪Once an expat, can we ever lose those vast and sometimes overwhelming glasses called 'Perspective' ?

We’ll start the meeting sharing with each other a little bit of our local culture and then our personal experiences with each of the above mentoned types of cultural shock.
